2 · Read the numbers
These are the workbook's cached values. If they look stale, the workbook wasn't recalced — stop.
Recalc rule: this reads saved formula results. Only publish a workbook that was
recalculated in Excel after its last edit (the sync routine does this). A stale save publishes stale KPIs with no warning.
3 · Publish
